Homer invokes the Muse to help him introduce the audience to the story. Unseen by the blind Homer, Odysseus kills the Muse, takes her place, and calls on the characters from “The O.G. and the Aegean” to bring the story to life, in the opening number of the play-within-the play… while it survives.
"Batcrap crazy" leading lady Tru, whose process has been described as "The Method on Meth," has given up love to commit to her role as Penelope... then finds that Penelope has abandoned her. Watch her struggle as she implores the role to possess her, despite the fact that the role is to be "all alone." With second-stanza commentary from an older rival for the role, Olivia.
The Odysseus of "The O.G. and the Aegean" speaks to us in his own voice! Whatever you've heard from the elites, he's really just like you and me, but better. Just ask him.

Mrs. Odysseus misses Odysseus as Odysseus misses his missus... and his other possessions. It's "All alone" vs. "All I'll own."
As you return to your seat for the second act, Odysseus returns to Ithaca, disguised as an old beggar. We begin in the cottage of his loyal swineherd Eumaeus, where... but wait, let's let Athena tell it!
As the dress rehearsal for "The O.G. and the Aegean" continues, Ryder runs home when Cally's home health aide reports a health scare. He and Cally share a tender moment before he runs back to the world of the theatre.
Enter Odysseus' son, Telemachus -- and together they plot to make Ithaca great again!
